Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA)

Our Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) is a warm and welcoming group made up of parents, carers, staff, and friends of the East SILC community. Together, we work in partnership to enhance the school experience for all our learners.

The PTFA brings people together to build community, strengthen home–school links, and raise vital funds that directly benefit our pupils. Whether it’s supporting school events, helping to provide additional learning resources, organising social gatherings, or fundraising for projects that fall outside the school’s core budget, the PTFA plays a key part in enriching school life.

By joining or supporting the PTFA, you are helping us provide:

• Extra resources, materials, and experiences that enhance learning and wellbeing
• Events and activities such as fairs, discos, coffee mornings, craft sessions, and workshops
• Opportunities for parents and carers to connect, support one another, make friends, and feel part of school life
• Fundraising initiatives that ensure all money raised goes straight back to the learners at East SILC

Whether you can volunteer occasionally, attend meetings, contribute ideas, or simply support events, every bit of involvement helps and is truly appreciated.
