This scheme enables mainstream settings within Leeds to borrow and trial a wide range of assistive technology (AT) products to help you meet the needs of pupils with SEND more effectively. The “try before you buy” model offers the opportunity to find out if a specific digital tool works effectively for one or more of your pupils before committing any funding. If the technology is having a positive impact on learning, engagement, confidence, or independence, you can choose to purchase it from the supplier after the trial period has ended. You will be able to access training resources and support to build your staff’s awareness, confidence, and capability in using the technology effectively with pupils.
