Craft for Life @Stitch-Up06 Jun 2018Craft for Life @Stitch-UpToday students from Post 16 were able to attend their second 'Craft for Life' workshop at Stitch-Up in Meanwood. In the session they used looms to learn how to weave and last week they made some Pom poms. This project is giving them lots of opportunity to develop their communication, social interaction and fine motor skills.

Stitch-Up is an innovative Community Interest Company dedicated to up-skilling and connecting people and communities by teaching and promoting the basics and benefits of knitting and yarn crafts in a modern world.

Thanks to Jen at Stitch-Up for running these workshops for us. The students are looking forward to learning a new crafting skill next week.
