"Kung hei fat choy!"31 Jan 2017

In Lions Class at Whitkirk we have had a very exciting week preparing for the Chinese New Year - the Year of the Rooster

We have made lucky money wallets, hats, lanterns and dancing dragons!

We have found out which animal zodiac signs we were all born under.

We had some lovely Chinese food and tried a lot of new things like seaweed and jack fruit which we all enjoyed. We even used chop sticks!!
Our favourite was the fortune cookies with secret messages inside.

We have been singing Chinese songs and danced with our dragons!

We wish everyone "Kung hei fat choy!"
