Moving and Handling Training Service

The Moving and Handling team deliver training to schools and organizations city wide in Leeds. The comprehensive information in our training helps staff, carers and parents to perform their client handling duties safely and comfortably. We offer free advice over the phone, on our website and via email. We can also come in and offer a free consultation to find exactly what training you need.

The training we deliver deals specifically with moving and handling of children with impaired movement, and adults with similar disabilities. Our training content can vary from school to school, as each school requires bespoke course content. The key benefits of our service is that staff, carers and parents have a greater knowledge of assisting and caring for children and young people in their settings. The training we deliver ensures safe practise around moving and handling techniques. We can also offer advice on intimate care, risk assessments, specialist equipment and classroom ergonomics.
