Post 16

The Post 16 course has been designed for students in their final years of school-based education. The overall aim of the course is to encourage the development of self-reliance, confidence and a range of independence skills within every student in order that they may cope successfully with the demands made upon them by society outside the school environment and by further education college courses.

Students are taught in small groups, in purpose built accommodation which includes personal care and physiotherapy treatment provision.

Courses offered are structured to meet the needs of all students within the group and include the Asdan Youth Award Scheme, Towards Independence courses and units of study accredited by the West and North Yorkshire Open College Network.
