Administration Assistant

B3, scale point 18 to 21, pro-rata.
Hour per week: 37, Term Time only plus 5 days.
Contract: Permanent.  Subject to 6 months probationary period.
Start date: As soon as possible.

An opportunity has arisen for an administration assistant to work for the Medical Needs Teaching Service (MNTS), primarily based at the Queenswood Education Centre (QEC).

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the education team including:  timetabling lessons for QEC and community taught pupils, attendance data responsibilities, exams administration, minuting meetings, and liaison with mainstream schools and medical professionals to facilitate high quality education for children and young adults.

The person appointed will have excellent interpersonal skills, excellent IT skills, and an organised and calm manner.  They will be willing to undertake training where necessary to enhance their skills.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  Appointments will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and reference checks.
