Voicebox Joke Competition Final 201826 Apr 2018Voicebox Joke Competition Final 2018Well done to Shannon Kennedy (Primary) and Amy Cooper (High School) who respresented the East SILC John Jamieson in the national 'Voicebox' joke competition final that was held at the Houses of Parliament yesterday.  They were picked out of 5000 students from schools across the UK to particpate in the final. They did the school proud and had the judges in stitches! 

Voice Box is a national joke competition for schools, which reminds people that all children need support to build their communication skills and confidence and some need additional specialist help to speak and/or understand what is being said to them. The competition is run by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).  You can find out more information about the competition here:
