EMI Music Sound Foundation donation01 Dec 2015EMI Music Sound Foundation donationBig Hoo Ha attend Grafton and deliver music sessions to our students as well as help out in the enrichment week and at the end of term, they encouraged me to apply to the EMI Music Sound Foundation for a donation.  I applied at the end of summer, July, and received a letter beginning of November stating that ‘the trustees of EMI Music Sound Foundation have considered your application and agreed a donation of £500 for the instruments/equipment you specified in your application’.
Big Hoo Ha will be back in Grafton next year and at the end of term, and obviously the instruments will be used during this time and will help the students gain self-esteem and encouragement during these sessions.
We are all very excited and with the help of Big Hoo Ha next year hope to put to good use the instruments that have now arrived.
