The Big Draw 201510 Nov 2015The Big Draw 2015

Took place at Grafton Learning Centre on 22nd October 2015
‘Visual literacy is the ability to interpret, negotiate, and make meaning from information
Presented in the form of an image…  Visual literacy is based on the idea that pictures can
Be “read” and that meaning can be communicated through a process of reading.’
This year we are drawing / creating a visual image of poems from other cultures
This Room
This room is breaking out,
Of itself, cracking through
Its own walls
In search of space, light,
Empty air.

The bed is lifting out of
Its nightmares
From corners, chairs
Are rising up to crash through clouds…
