Healthy Schools09 Apr 2015Healthy SchoolsEarlier this term, the East SILC was re-assessed for Healthy Schools status.  The assessment took place during March, and our Student Council pupils and Food Ambassadors did a fantastic job of showing the assessors how we make healthy choices with regard to our food, exercise and lifestyles in general.  The assessment also looked at the emotional health and wellbeing of our young people. The assessors were very impressed, and their feedback was extremely positive.  We are still awaiting the full report, however we do know that the school has retained its status, and we continue to look at further ways in which we can make our school even healthier and happier!
