Leeds General Infirmary Visits11 Mar 2015Leeds General Infirmary VisitsEarly this academic year, High School pupils visited Leeds General Infirmary. Pupils had the opportunity to carry out a range of exciting activities including visiting the helicopter pad, using the fire hoses, learning about the recovery position and a general tour of the hospital. The purpose of this scheme was to help pupils overcome potential fears and anxieties of hospitals for when they have to visit in future. Pupils’ behaviour was of a high exceptional standard throughout the visits. This was a fantastic learning experience for our young people who met a range of hospital professionals.
